lightning strikes
quickly; naturally
some might say
this is a disaster

from the ash of the fire
springs new life,
new opportunities
perhaps one day
when the time is right,
we will find the embers
still glowing in our hearts,
we can rekindle
this glorious blaze
place some rocks around it
and use its heat to
prepare the recipes of life
