Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • Angostura bitters
  • 2 1/2 cups rum (light or dark)
  • 1 cup simple syrup
  • grenadine syrup

Equipment

  • 1 Pitcher

Method
 

  1. In a large pitcher, mix together juices, spices, rum, and 6 shakes of angostura bitters.
  2. Add grenadine syrup until the punch reaches the color of a flaming sunset.
  3. Add simple syrup until the desired sweetness is achieved.
    4. Grenadine syrups differ in sweetness, so add the simple syup slowly, tasting along the way.
